Three cards of the same rank

Straight

Five cards, all in sequence, but not the same suit

Flush

Five cards, all in the same suit, but not in sequence

Full House

3 of a Kind AND another pair

4 of a Kind

Four of the same type card (one from each suit.) The fifth card can be any other card.

Straight Flush

Five cards in a row (Straight) where all the cards are in the same suit (Flush)

Royal Flush

A, K, Q, J, and 10 all from the same suit
