The Pub Poker Club Constitution
The club will be run on a non profit, and members only basis. It will have a
committee of at least 6 members. Any purchases made by the club remain the
property of the club unless given as prizes.
The committee will comprise of;
- A chairman
- A treasurer
- A secretary
- And a minimum of 3 additional members
The committee will have 3 signatures for the account. The treasurer plus 1 other to
sign for all financial out goings.
An AGM will be held during January of each year and open to all paid up members.
An Extraordinary General Meeting can be called by members if signatures are
obtaining from a minimum of 20% of the fully paid up members.
Should any member's conduct be deemed unacceptable the committee will consider
either suspending the member's membership for an appropriate period or remove the
member from the club.
Each player will register as a member of the league and pay a once only £5 registration fee plus £1.50 per game played. Any visitors wishing to play as a one off game may play for a start fee of £1.50 He / She will not score points for the night but play for the competition only and will not be eligible to qualify for the month end final. A member can be registered to play in a nightly game by having another player sign them in on their behalf. On arrival the player must pay the start fee and take their place at the table, should the player decide not to play after arrival he/she will be signed out as the first player out and receive zero points.
Each player can play any or all games within the league and the tournament cycle will
be each calendar month with monthly finals for qualifying players to be held on a
rotating basis between each of the participating venues.
Each venue will enter an agreement with the club to run their events for a minimum period of three months and pay the league £10 per league night staged. The pit boss will negotiate a payment for running the event direct with the Landlord. The landlord will receive a free entry into the month end final without the need to qualify.
Points will be allocated based on the finishing position on the night based on the
following scale;
Players will be awarded 50 points for every place they remain in the game with the first player out scoring 0 points and the player finishing 1st scoring a bonus 50 points. Depending on the number of members registered the top 45 players on points will qualify for the month final as well as the top 5 averages outside the top 45 based on a minimumof 5 games played. Should any player(s) outside the top 45 qualifiers have an equal number of points as the 45th player they will also qualify by right on points.
A further 5 spaces are reserved for invitational only players as agreed by the AGM
2010. Members will be notified at the earliest opportunity if this is to take place.

Once final table has been announced players will have a 5 min break to move to the final
table and take their seats.
Blind times are
15mins up to (1000 – 2000)
10mins until the end
Finals game – All players start with 10,000 chips
Prizes will be awarded for the final 8 players remaining and be to the value of up to
£1100 and paid in vouchers or prizes.
Should at any time during the final table it be agreed that the prize fund will be split between the remaining players the tournament will stop immediately. A chip count will be taken and the top three positions will be determined by the number of chips the players have at this time.
If two or more players have the same number of points at the top of the leader board at month end then the player with the best average will be the winner. Should two or more players have identical points and average then a joint winner will be announced.
